Flowers & Leaves Sun Catcher with Stacey Zaremba
Students will learn the copper foil method of stained glass, gaining hands-on experience with the full creative and technical process. Instruction will cover all stages of completing a finished piece, including selecting a pattern, glass cutting, foiling, soldering, a polishing., and safe handling of materials and tools.

Flamework Glass with Joe Estis
In this beginner friendly workshop, we’ll cover basic manipulation of solid borosilicate glass using an oxygen/propane-powered burner, comprehensive understanding of safety standards, and equipment functions. Students will be taught how to form and design multiple pieces that will go home with them. Age: for students 18+

10″ Apple Basket with Twill Pattern with Karen Wychock
The classic 10″ Shaker Cathead Basket was one of the most popular made by the Shakers. Its name derives from the fact that when it is held upside down, its shape resembles a cat’s head – the corners being the ears. Although the original design was borrowed from the Native American baskets, it was refined by the Shakers. Students can weave it plain or with a diagonal line through it (Twill pattern).

Create a beautiful 11”x11” sunflower clutch with a magnetic closure. (Ages 18+)

Flowers for Mom, Pysanka with Basia Andrusko
Explore the art, symbolism, and joy in creating a Pysanka.
The instructor will guide you through all the steps of transforming a plain eggshell into a work of art. Adult and/or teen students will learn the age-old Ukrainian method of Pysanka writing, where we use melted wax and dyes to create traditional designs. When complete, the wax is melted off to reveal the design.

6″ Peace Sign Suncatcher with Barbara Schultz
Come make a 6″ Peace Sign suncatcher! Learn to make beautiful Stained Glass using the copper foil technique, Tiffany Style! You will choose your own glass. You will cut, grind, foil and solder the glass. Cleaning and sanding of your projects will be done in class, and you will leave this one-day workshop with a completed project in hand.

Large Stained Glass Butterfly with Barbara Konschak
Come learn how to make a beautiful stained-glass butterfly suncatcher using the copper foil (Tiffany Style) technique. You will learn to cut, grind, foil, and solder the glass. Cleaning and sanding of student pieces will be done in class. Students will leave this one-day workshop with a completed project in hand. This is an 8 hour class, please feel free to bring a snack, drink, or lunch with you.

Introduction to Watercolors! with Sarah Jane Timmons
Join Sarah for a 3hr beginner-friendly watercolor workshop, where you’ll learn essential tips and techniques before creating your own paintings. This session will be a true intro to watercolor where you’ll familiarize yourself with tools used in watercolor and techniques to blending, layering, and adding or smoothing texture.

Playful Prints with Leigh Ferello
Gelli Plate Printing for Beginners
Discover the joy of gelli plate printing in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Gelli printing is a playful, experimental form of printmaking that requires no prior experience and produces beautiful, one-of-a-kind prints.
Participants will explore layering, texture, and mark-making using stencils, stamps, and found objects. You’ll learn techniques such as sgraffito, stamping and impressions, masking, and building layered prints, all while embracing the unexpected and letting go of perfection.

Cold Process Goat Milk Soap with Kathy Pernicairo
n hot demand these days are products without added ingredients no one can pronounce. Goat milk soap is just such a product! Loaded with many natural vitamins and minerals, goat milk soap is very beneficial for the skin. Learn to make this for gifts or personal use using common ingredients, scented or not, colored or plain. Working with lye (all soap has lye) safely, understanding the chemical process it goes through, utensils to use, and addressing common challenges that occur are all some of the information we will cover in class. Each student will go home with the soap they have created in class.

Oil Painting the Beauty of Spring with Renee Egan
Let’s celebrate the beauty of spring, whether you are painting the trees in bloom, the birds nesting, the beauty of flowers blooming or the magic of colorful gardens.
Two weekends of exploring color mixing and experimenting with vibrant color and texture. Choose your weekend or choose both.

Beautifully Broken: Kintsugi Golden Joinery with Leigh Ferello
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with a golden bond. This practice emphasizes beauty in imperfection, celebrating history and uniqueness rather than hiding flaws.
While traditional Kintsugi uses lacquer and gold powder, we’ll be using modern materials to ensure a comfortable and accessible experience. For this reason, your finished piece is intended for decorative use only (not food/water/heat safe). Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Materials may stain, so please “dress for mess”.
Please bring a box to transport the 6×6 stoneware bowl (provided, styles vary) home

Silk Scarves with Suzi Foster
Have fun creating unique and colorful silk scarves with an endless variety of color combinations. We will be using 100% habotai silk scarves that are so soft and luxurious and can be worn all year. You will choose a straight or infinity scarf. They make wonderful gifts; extra scarves can be made during class for an additional small fee. The scarves will be completed and ready to go home at the end of the class.

Nature Printing with Color Extraction with Patti Anderson
Turn everyday items of clothing into unique, wearable works of art. Using leaves, flowers, and seashells with a color extraction process, you will uncover the colors hidden within the fabric. Participants will go home with an apron and a tote bag (provided by the instructor) and one or two items of clothing you have brought to turn into a piece of art. Great options are t-shirts, scarves, or skirts in a natural fiber (ex. cotton, silk, wool) and dark in color. Students are also encouraged to bring fresh plant or flower clippings with them to use in their work.

Stained Glass Flower Garen Stake with Barbara Schultz
Come make a beautiful Flower “garden stake”. You will choose a 5 or 6 petal flower pattern. (several flower petal options will be available). You will have a choice of 3 foot, 4 foot, or 5 foot stakes. Students will choose their own glass, and will learn to cut, grind, foil and solder the glass. Cleaning and sanding will be done in class, and you will leave with a completed project in hand. The sturdy garden stake can stay in your yard all year round, and the flower can easily be brought inside for the winter.

The Art of Hand Papermaking with Leigh Ferello
Joomchi, Momigami & Sheet Forming
Explore three ways to make your own paper using everyday materials and modern methods. Explore the expressive possibilities of paper in this hands-on workshop introducing three distinct hand papermaking techniques. Participants will learn Joomchi, a Korean method of wet layering and kneading mulberry paper; Momigami, a Japanese process that transforms paper into a soft, cloth-like material; and sheet forming, where recycled pulp is suspended in water and formed into new “sheets” using a sieve.

Silver Metal Clay Bracelet with Monique Perry
In this workshop, students will learn to handle the clay, add texture, form and create panels. Post fired, the panels will be burnished, tumbled, patina added, then formed on a mandrel. Students will then assemble them together with chain and jump rings to create a bracelet. Firing and all finishing work is done in class, students can leave with a finished piece to wear.

Plein–Air Painting with Renee Egan
This is a on location class where you will really get the sense of true color, value and form. Our location will be decided and planned.
I will go over several approaches to painting a scene al la prima style. (put it down and leave it alone) we will discuss planning a composition, color temperature, the importance of values, color mixing and application. Choose your weekend or choose both.

Wood Kiln Firing
The Tyler Park Arts Manabigama (Japanese for “beautiful learning kiln”) is a single chamber wood kiln designed to be efficient, and give beautiful results. Kiln firings are scheduled periodically throughout the year.
