Board of Directors and Staff
Earth Center Pottery, was founded in 2001 by Jennifer Miller. At that time, the art center was the headquarters for the PA Guild of Craftsmen. In 2009, when the PA Guild moved locations, Jennifer Miller continued Earth Center Pottery and expanded the organization, founding Tyler Park Center for the Arts .
TPCA is a true community art center in the heart of Bucks County where people of all ages come together to create in an atmosphere that is infused with support and guidance of professional artists in a wide variety of artistic mediums. All levels of ability, beginner through advanced, find room to grow nestled in the natural surroundings of Tyler State Park.
TPCA and ECP are the place to unwind, explore and make wonderful connections with other like-minded people, to your own creativity and to a sense of wonder filled excitement that builds a strong sense of self.
Through 20 years of community arts, one of the recurring themes that students share on a regular basis is that art is the best therapy they could possibly imagine, and that they have never experienced a place before that supports their creative path so fully. The center is dedicated to opening doors to the arts while building a true artistic community based on a perfect recipe of personal interaction blended with expert instruction. From the moment you drive down the Sycamore tree lined drive into Tyler State Park that leads to the stately white barn surrounded by a world class large scale outdoor sculpture exhibit, it is evident that you have entered a special place.
Our mission is to enrich the community through fine arts, crafts and music; to encourage art education and excellence; to nurture artists in a community of connection; and grow cross-cultural, social, and racial understanding through the experience of the arts.
