Silk Scarves with Suzi Foster

Have fun creating unique and colorful silk scarves with an endless variety of color combinations. We will be using 100% habotai silk scarves that are so soft and luxurious and can be worn all year. You will choose a straight or infinity scarf. They make wonderful gifts; extra scarves can be made during class for an additional small fee. The scarves will be completed and ready to go home at the end of the class.

Suzi Foster is a South Jersey based artist who loves to be surrounded by color. With every medium she works with; fabric, stained glass, paint and interiors,  she looks for ways to combine colors and patterns.  Suzi first learned this technique for dyeing silk in 2015 and has been hooked ever since, making and selling pieces online and at juried craft shows. She has been teaching others to make them for the last five years. Suzi began teaching 20 years ago as a Girl Scout leader, then substitute teacher, then teaching after school art classes. She has also run several community based mural painting classes. Visit her Instagram Page
