Learn the ancient art of Shibori dyeing! Create fabulous wearables using Indigo dye for yourself or to give as gifts. Four different techniques will be taught and participants choose two ways to prep their fabrics. Students can create two silk scarves from start to finish or opt to create a cotton tote or pillow covers. Students will spend time prepping fabric before soaking. The fabric will then be submerged multiple times in the dye vat before rinsing thoroughly and hanging to dry. You’ll be sure to “ooh and aah” over your results. Come see why everyone loves Shibori!
