Precious Metal Clay Jewelry with Monique Perry

Come learn how to make beautiful fine silver jewelry using Precious Metal Clay (PMC). In this class, students will learn how to hand sculpt and texture fine silver clay into petals, stems, leaves, bail and jump ring. They will combine and add these elements onto a fine silver base piece to create a dimensional sunflower pendant. Once fired, students will finish pieces by adding a patina to darken the recessed areas in their pendants, then polish and finish their work to add brilliance and shine. Students will leave with a finished piece of jewelry they can be proud to wear!

  • Student will have a 1 hour break for lunch and firing time.
  • Materials include 17grams of fine silver clay, shared syringe clay, use of equipment and supplies.
