In this workshop, students will learn to handle the clay, add texture, form and create panels. Post fired, the panels will be burnished, tumbled, patina added, then formed on a mandrel. Students will then assemble them together with chain and jump rings to create a bracelet. Firing and all finishing work is done in class, students can leave with a finished piece to wear.

Fine Silver Snowflake Pendant
In this class, we will focus on creating a fine silver snowflake pendant (or other shape of student’s choosing). Using embossing plates to texture the fine silver metal clay, we can achieve clean deep textures. The post fired pieces can be patinated for a deep contrast and visual interest. Students will learn to create a fine silver metal clay bezel for a 3 or 4 mm. faceted gemstone that can be fired in place.
