In hot demand these days are products without added ingredients no one can pronounce. Goat milk soap is just such a product! Loaded with many natural vitamins and minerals, goat milk soap is very beneficial for the skin. Learn to make this for gifts or personal use using common ingredients, scented or not, colored or plain. Working with lye (all soap has lye) safely, understanding the chemical process it goes through, utensils to use, and addressing common challenges that occur are all some of the information we will cover in class. Each student will go home with soap they have created in class.
- Wear old clothes, you will be working with lye and essential oils.

About the Artist
For twenty years I owned and taught at my own massage school, working with both adults and children. Looking back, the most rewarding class I taught was at Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Camp for Kids in Ashford CT. The class was “How to massage your critically ill child”. So I have taught in both a formal classroom and outside under trees and sky. Two of my grandkids have skin issues and I researched to see what might be of help. This led me to Goat Milk Soap and its many benefits. This has now become an amazing hobby for me and I ship bars all over the U.S. My Facebook page, Rebecca’s Garden Goat Milk Soap and Lotions has many pictures of fun bars I have created in my own kitchen. This is my first class to teach at Tyler and I am very much looking forward to sharing this fun hobby!
