Community Day

April 26, 2026 (1:00 – 4:00pm)
April marks the return of our annual Community Day celebration, featuring “Bees and the World They Live In” themed activities.
Enjoy a variety of fun crafts, explore TPCA’s community sculpture garden, Ivy Hill Apiary will also be on-site with a honeybee talk and share, create a bee hive sculpture out of clay to decorate the art center grounds, try some kids crafts, meet 4-H Reptile and Amphibian friends, learn how spinning fibers into yarn happens, and celebrate spring by planting some new native flowering trees at TPCA at 2pm.
Join the Tyler State Park Staff and the Friends of Tyler State Park to learn how to give your trees the best start, choose the right location, and maintain them for overall health. Stop in for the discussion and demonstration or register in advance for hands-on session!
Community Day is a FREE event open to all ages. Light food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Be sure to save the date!
