Join Tyler for a three hour introductory drawing fundamentals workshop, which will equip students with the technical skills to explore any style or medium with confidence. Working directly from an arrangement of geometric forms, students will learn how to simplify subjects into basic shapes, get accurate proportions, and work with values. All drawing materials will be provided for the class. No previous experience in art is required, just bring an open mind and a willingness to learn!

~About the Artist~
Tyler Allen is a contemporary realist artist based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, specializing in chalk pastel and graphite. After studying at the Grand Central Atelier in New York City, Tyler is currently pursuing his BFA in Studio Art at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia. His work has been exhibited at prestigious venues including the Demuth Museum, the Lancaster Museum of Art, Millersville University, the Union League of Philadelphia and the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
Tyler spent four years at the Oxford Arts Alliance providing private art instruction for K-12 students. There, he developed an extensive curriculum ranging from exploratory mixed-media crafts to advanced pre-college portfolio development.
