Macramé with Barbara Neale

Macramé with Barbara Neale

Macramé is an ancient art of knots. Macramé knowledge travelled with sailors from port to port as they would make and sell their knotted creations. People were interested in how these knots were made and macramé became several versions of itself in each destination. Macramé art can be simple or elaborate, large or small, it is up to you the creator. It is easier than you think. REALLY!!

Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 5:00pm
$45 + $20 materials fee payable to the instructor at time of class.
Class size is limited to 8 people, Ages 14+

In this 4-hour workshop you will learn several macramé knots that are used for a variety of projects. You will be shown how to do each of the knots which will result in a 12″ wall hanging and a skill to use on your future macramé projects.

Barbara has been doing Macrame on and off for many years. Her work has always been for friends and family. She has completed wall hangings, bracelets, and a guitar strap specially requested after seeing some of her gifts. We are happy that she is joining us to share her knowledge.
