2 separate workshops on Sunday, January 2, 2022
Glass Pendants 10:00am to 12:30pm or Borosilicate Glass Icicles – 2:00pm – 4:30pm

Glass Icicles: Students will have a chance to learn the basics of Flameworking glass while making their very own glass icicle. Students will learn basic connections and have fun manipulating the glass. We will use numerous colors to create wave like shapes or ornaments that can be hung on a tree or a window.  Students will make approx. 5 icicles. $90 + $15 material fee payable to the instructor at the time of class

Glass Pendant: Students will use crushed up glass and implode these small pieces of glass into clear glass to make frit pendants. Everyone will leave with complete, ready to wear pendant! $100 + $15 materials fee payable to the instructor at time of class

Jessica Keemer is an award winning studio artist in Lancaster, Pa. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Millersville University and also has a degree in Art Education and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Systems Management. She has studied at the New Approach Jewelers School in Virginia Beach, Va. and at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. Jessica is a PA State-Juried Artist and currently serves as a State Board Member to the PA Guild of Craftsmen. https://www.jessicakeemer.com/
