<div>This is a week program designed for the interested high school student that wants to improve their drawing skills, start or improve their portfolio. With a focus on improving their drawing and developing strong compositions and layouts, along with learning how to use color in a harmonious way, assignments like landscapes, figure drawing, and charcoal portraits are just some of the work they will be doing. Students will also be exposed to valuable admission information and requirements from visiting representatives of several area Art schools and Universities. Students will be notified on what materials they will need on the first day of class.</div>

<p>Students will choose their medium, either oils or acrylic. This will be an open studio session where each person works to develop his style, while further developing their skills at composition, texture, color usage, perspective and use of light and shadow. Appropriate for beginners and also those with experience with the mediums. The student will choose their subject matter and work from Still Life, Photographs or even some Plein Aire painting outside of our studio! Students will bring their own basic set of acrylic or oil paints. May be repeated more than one week.</p>

<p>These days we are all concerned with reusing items rather than sending them to the landfill. In this camp we will make some cool crafts while we recycle. We’ll make are a neat lantern using a wine bottle; and a beautiful glass wind chime that can hang in the garden or a sunny window, fire glass in a kiln to use as a pendant or keychain. We’ll have fun creating beautiful art while doing our part for the environment.</p>

<p>Come experience an exciting creative class design for students ages 12 &amp; up. Students will build their own personnel Marionette that they design. Many steps of construction like sewing, molding clay heads and stringing them on to dowels will happen as well as taking a look at the history and the beginnings of Marionettes all the way up to contemporary puppet making and their performers. Student will discover the magic and mysteries of Marionette building and construct their very own to take home.</p>
